		Most Improved Player Award This award will be given to a player who shows the most improvement over a given time period. Truly an award to be cherished, as it is a result of a lot of time and hard work.		Details
		Meritorious Newcomer Award This award will be given to a newcomer who makes themselves known and puts in the most effort to make their character a valuable addition.		Details
		Recruitment Award This award is to recognize those who have successfully recruited a new player to the sim who remains on that sim for a minimum period of 6 months.		Details
		Character Development Award Awarded to a player who has developed their character with considerable talent, making that character a joy to interact with.		Details
		Outstanding Character Development Award Awarded to a player who demonstrates supreme postings, posts often, and plays their character "to the hilt". Considered one of the highest honors a player can receive.		Details
		NPC Development Award This award marks the achievement of a player for their development of engaging, detailed NPCs who add realism and dimension to the sim.		Details
		Creativity Award: Technology Awarded to a player who follows the technical standards of the Star Trek universe, incorporating them into their posts with nearly flawless precision.		Details
		Creativity Award: Combat Awarded to a player who writes supreme battle posts, making their posts enjoyable and exciting to read in the heat of battle.		Details
		Creativity Award: Humour This award is meant to help us all remember that a bit of light-heartedness goes a long way; even in the face of danger.		Details
		Creativity Award: Diversity This award is granted to players who have done an exemplary job writing and developing their non-human characters.		Details
		Creativity Award: Literary Prowess Awarded for the best writing style: clear, precise, and easy to follow - yet allows the story to flow smoothly and easily passed off to another crew member. Also includes spelling and grammar used properly.		Details
		Creativity Award: Literary Excellence Awarded for intricate story-crafting. This goes beyond simple matters of spelling, grammar, and legibility; rather, it is for the obvious effort put into posts to make them enjoyable to read for all members not just as enjoyment for the writers who created them – for telling a tale within a tale as they weave their own story within the greater plot of their sim. This award is for use of excellent language for artistic purposes and not just for the sake of making language more complex. It focuses more on the intent, but also on the successful writing of supreme-quality posts.		Details
		Friendship Ribbon For the development of a meaningful character relationship. The non-romantic friendship should be an unfolding story over the course of multiple posts and impact the characters' lives significantly.		Details
		Meritorious Volunteer Award For the player who makes every effort to find significant ways to lend a hand to the sim's command staff.		Details
		Outstanding Volunteer Award Given to a player who has truly put forth an indisputable amount of extra effort. Recruiting, pulling the crew together, posting, helping to fill in the "gaps", and helping maintain their ship's website are just a few of the things that could count toward this award. Truly, this is one award to cherish when received.		Details
		Community Builder Citation This award represents the work and dedication of those who read and comment on other posts. It is awarded to the player who comments the most or the person who leaves the most profound comment on completed mission posts. Peer constructive criticism is a great thing. It is also wonderful to have your work acknowledged!		Details
		Outstanding Community Builder Citation Awarded to a player who makes a constant indisputable effort to be welcoming to new players and encouraging to long-standing members. This player is always going out of their way to help the crew connect with one another and knit the sim much closer together.		Details
		Firebird Medal of Exellence This award is awarded to a player that truly inspires the rest of them to create community and try their best for the sake of the Firebird Community. This award is reserved for those players whom the whole crew believes that without their presence support and inspiration, the community would not be possible. It can only be awarded by a unanimous vote from all active crew.		Details
		Firebird Award of Merit This award must be earned by the entire crew for outstanding collaborative writing across numerous posts that are narratively connected. When each writer gives their individual best and cooperates to give other writers room to do their best, too, a storyline reaches heights that could not be achieved without teamwork. This is not the participation ribbon award--it is the everyone truly deserves recognition award. The award-winning series of posts must be written over a significant period of time, demonstrating a ship-wide player commitment to a shared story. 		Meritorious Civilian Service Medal This award is awarded to civilians who have provided exceptional services that have made a significant and positive impact on a mission.		Details
		Good Conduct Medal For exceptional performance of a crew member's duties over a period of time. This medal denotes a committed and dependable individual both on and off duty.		Details
		Exemplary Courage Medal Officers who put themselves in grave danger by going far beyond the normal call of duty qualify for this medal in a non-combat situation. To achieve this award, the person nominated cannot simply be following their superior's orders. They must volunteer to carry out such acts.		Details
		Medal of Honor This medal is awarded to those who distinguish themselves conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of their lives above and beyond the call of duty while in a combat situation.		Details
		Purple Heart Awarded to personnel who are wounded or killed in the line of duty.		Details
		Prisoner Of War Medal Given to Starfleet officers who are captured by enemy forces for any length of time.		Details
		Geordi LaForge Obstacle Citation This award is presented to those who have overcome a disability in order to perform their duties.		Details

		Geneva Peace Ribbon This ribbon is presented to individuals who were responsible for attaining a peaceful resolution between two conflicting parties. The recipient may either be single-handedly responsible or have played a large part in the negotiations. The conflicting parties do not have to be Starfleet.		Details
