Her hair is glossy black which reaches to just below her shoulders. She carries herself with grace due to her love of dancing. Her determined spirit can be seen in her dark brown eyes which reflects her spirited nature.

General Overview		She is a pleasant woman, but also has a determined streak. She isn't afraid to keep individuals, no matter the rank, waiting until their appointed time. Just because they have rank,it doesn't mean they have privileges

Ambitions		Kiyo wishes to be the best diplomatic offcer she can be, to honor her parents and the sacrifice they had made during the war with the Dominion.She also wants to find a place where she feels like she belongs.

History

Personal History		DOB 2373, February 11th. Kiyo was born on Bajor to Furuse and Namika Rugasi,four years after Cardassia withdrew from Bajor. She had only one year to be in the loving care of her parents, before they went to take part of fighting against the Dominion.They had to go, as they felt they needed to keep Bajor from becoming trod under the bootheels of another race and be subserviant too. Both mother and father had died in a battle, taking as many of Dominion soldiers with them. Jem'Hadar. She was left in the tender care of her grandfather,Rugasi, Tezuka, a diplomat. Before Kiyo had been born, her grandmother Amaya had passed away. Kiyo had been given her grandmother's name for rememberance. Tezuka did have help to raise the young girl as it did take a community to raise a child. He never remarried as there were none he wished to marry, and would respect his little grand-daughter. Time went on, Kiyo was her grandfather's constant shadow when she wasn't in school. She was his little assistant from age 4 all the way up to age 16. She learned languages,studied how to become a diplomat, because she was interested and also wanted to be just like her grandfather. Tezuka found out early on that Kiyo had quite the strength of character and also a really determined mind. This could at times turn into stubborness. She didn't have any qualms about holding an Admiral at bay if her grandfather wasn't wanting to have a meeting with a troublesome visitor as of yet. She did it with respect though, and was charming about it. She definitely wasn't about to let an admiral pull rank and interrupt a meeting that her grandfather was in. On recommendation and also Tezuka wanting Kiyo to experience life, he persuaded her (without much effort) to get Kiyo to join Starfleet and be amongst those of the diplomatic corps. She loved that idea, having had the desire to know what was out there, in the vast realms of space. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in Academy, and when she graduated, her first experience was at SB50 as a diplomatic aide, assigned to the chief diplomat. Commander Mattix. She enjoyed that but it was shortlived. As there was a change of staff. Kiyo was sent to reside with her grandfather until she was reassigned. Tezuka assured Kiyo that another assignment would be found, Kiyo was hoping that would happen. Tezuka had some business to attend on Earth and Kiyo went with him. While there, he found out that an acquaintance/friend was there, having shoreleave. He contacted Commander Jörgen Leed desiring that perhaps he could help in getting his grand daughter assigned somewhere. Foot Note A small piece of history about Tezuka,he was part of the Barjoran Resistance when the Cardassians occupied Bajor when he was sixteen. Fighting against some of the despot Cardassian overlords. During that time especially near the end of the occupation of Bajor, Tezuka became tired of the fighting against the Cardassians as not all of them were heavy handed, like those who were in the higher part of the government. Besides he wished to embrace peace, and help to bring that about for others.
