Personality & Traits
General Overview | Kalstri, as with any good chef, has a passion for cooking. But for him cooking does not start and end with the food. It starts and ends with the consumer. They are as much a part of any recipe as the very ingredients themselves. No one knows exactly what they want or how it should be cooked. It is only by knowing the person can Kalstri make the best food for them. He will adjust his cooking even based on the mood and well being of the person he is cooking for. You could ask for the same dish every day and each day it would taste slightly different but perfect for that day. In most cases, it is exactly what you needed. Because of this style, Kalstri loves to interact with his consumers. His mood is always what is needed for his consumers. Above all, he desires to please. There are some restrictions on this. He refuses to treat people differently based on rank and this has caused some consternation with other captains. And when it comes to his kitchen, it must be done his way. He refuses to work with anyone else. Because of this, the perfect ship for him is hard to find. It must be a small ship so that he is the only needed chef, and the captain must be willing to share him equally with the crew. |
Personal History | Kalstri knows that he wants to be a chef on a ship. He wants to have a fairly consistent clientele so that he can get to know them, to understand their nuance. But, he is fairly demanding in what will constitute the right crew. Because of this he has flitted from ship to ship. He has been on several starfleet ships, some have ended badly. Someday he will find the right ship, the right captain, and the right crew. |
