Personal History		Jillian (Jill) was raised in a survivalist community where paranoia was abundant. The community kept their beliefs underground, but taught their children about the-end-of-times religiously. Jillian had a talent for plants and herbalism. She understood how to grow an undetectable herb garden for “family” use, and first learned nursing without the use of modern technology. As she got older she was also introduced to the medical technology available in the area. The “family” wanted her to learn more so she could give modern medical aid during the-end-of-times as well as survival medicine. She wasn’t a strong believer in the-end-of-times, and wanted a different life. She was fascinated by her nursing training and took to it easily. When she met the man who would become Emily's father, she decided to leave “the family” for good. The community’s stockpile of weapons and paranoia about the outside world scared Jillian. Once he had left she and Emily, staying on earth was too much. She pulled some strings and found her way onto the Firebird as a nurse.
