[Captain's Personal Merit] Lieutenant Rhiana t'Aegis

Each month I give this award and I try to single out a person/ character who has embodied the things I am looking for in the best crewmember. Rhiana has been an outstanding addition to our crew since she joined. She's a unique character with a unique past. She has depth and intrigue and is a consummate professional in her duties as Chief Security/ Tactical Officer. I truly appreciate her personality. She is a Romulan. An incredibly believable Romulan. I love the way she is written on point all the time. Sometimes characters I write are not happy with Rhiana but that is a true response. I am excited to watch her grow over time. Additionally, Rhiana as a person is very active on Slack, despite our time differences. She is fun to chat with and is there for the early risers. Her stellar writing, interesting perspectives and outstanding contributions to our sim have earned her my Personal Merit for this month.

[Crew's Choice Award] Jillian Mox.

"My heart was aching for her when she was separated from Emily. Can't wait to see the (whole family?) reunion!"

"I think she has really excelled this month. The birthday post was fun and her pod post is riveting. The separation of Mom and Daughter has me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for her next posts to see where this is going to go!"

"Jillian's emotional portrayal of a mother looking for her daughter and being sick with grief when they are forced to make an impossible decision to leave her behind gave me chills and caused a few tears as I read it. I think it was one of the more powerful pieces I have read on this sim and a beautiful story."

"It is hard to pour emotions into a character and have it come off as truly authentic. It takes craft and nuance and Jillian was written beautifully in her first escape pod JP. I am excited to see how her story continues."

Runners-Up: Petty Officer Third Class Gianna Djokovic, Lieutenant JG Murrill Na, Lieutenant JG Soto Gantt, Chief Petty Officer Arlan Harlan, Lieutenant Commander Jorgen Leed, Petty Officer First Class Kipp Lak, Petty Officer Third Class Kaya, Ensign Ashralle Sh’shrytral.

Meritorious Newcomer Award: Petty Officer Third Class Kaya

"Her first post was really a great introduction to the character in a very non-traditional first post. She seems very active on Slack and she seems like a great writer. Can't wait to see what she does with the character in the future."

"One of the newest members, but so far a great addition to the Crew. Looking forward to seeing more out of them."

"She has been a great addition and I enjoy her enthusiasm."

"Leapt in with both feet and is still swimming laps."

Good Conduct Medal Lieutenant Commander Jorgen Leed

"I feel like Leed keeps things together and gives a fresh perspective on what is happening. He also feels like a real adult on a ship of mostly young people, and it is nice to feel safe in those posts."

"I wanted to nominate Leed for all he has done to assist me with the POD posts. I hit a writer's block and he helped me smash it."

Non-Player Character Award Emily Mox

"Let's face it...everyone loves Emily. She keeps us all on our toes and she somehow has made her way into the hearts of everyone. Plus, she took over and helped Gia with the swimming. Yay, Emily"
